There's time, this was more about Buffy. It never touched on how Angel and Twilight met which would be all I'd really need to know for his story. Admittedly I don't care much for Angel so it's a story I prefer to be told not shown. It's quicker that way.

However, like I said to par_avion, it did feel like Angel through a glass. I don't think he's entirely himself ( and I thought the text made that explicit) but I can see how Angel more than any other character could be Twilightified in that way. If it were Spike in the role I'd agree with you.
