There are some pacing problems, but those were in s1 as well in places; I, for one, really enjoy the second season, in the same way I did the first (i.e. yes, I have some complaints, but I did in the first, too, and am really captivated by the majority of the storylines).
And the snow globe was beautiful and wrong.
