Oh, interesting. I have to think about this post and the issue some more -- I took a studybreak today and went out to buy & read it, and I was having trouble connecting this version of Angel/Twilight with his past characterisation on either TV show or in his own comic. And I say that as someone who enjoys S8, it's really just Angel that I'm having a problem with.
