There’s a track on OK Computer that’s always seemed X-files inspired and now I realise where the title “Subterranean Homesick Alien” comes from. This is one of those vids where even if you know you don’t know, you know that everything to know is in there. Brilliant right to the end (more so than the source).

How do I love this vid? Let me count the ways. But to say anything about it might spoil the first viewing. Ruthlessly pared down and all the more powerful for it.

Fancies his mother and sundry other wanton women, then gets royally fucked by his faux father figure. And my god the naked. I don’t remember all the naked. Didn’t the show go out at eight? After watching this vid every Fotofit picture looks like a penis and Watney’s Red Barrel equals heroin. Yeah.
