Very quick reaction
If there were a higher power and its purpose were to show humanity (or for that matter the cylons) the way to earth you’d think by now they would have figured it for a total incompetent. Alternatively if its purpose were to bring humans and cylons (or at least some remnant of both peoples) to a point when they might believably attempt co-existence then give that deity a deviousness bonus.
So the four are activated just in time for Sam to fly out (and he’s doing that because Kara got wormholed) and stare down a Raider which puts the wind up the Cavils who order the lobotomies that trigger a civil war that leads to the rebels destroying the Hub and a face off between them and the humans that for the first time really could mean mutually assured destruction because now both sides can die. Then and only then are the directions to Earth released just when both sides can almost taste it and have everything to lose if they don’t.
So of course Adama was right from the beginning and the thing about Earth wasn’t getting there but having somewhere to go. Except that now they are there how long can the fragile truce hold up? And if the final four have been to Earth what exactly were they doing there that brought it to its current state?
