Oh!!! I missed the original version of this, so I'm so glad you remastered it and reposted; I'm not sure I'd have found it otherwise. I'm such an Ellison fan, so I lovelovelove what you've done with him here, and I'm completely fascinated to see Ellison's story told here with a near-complete absence of Sarah. I tend to think of her as so present for him, even when she's not, but this really highlights how many pieces of the story James sees that have little to do with Sarah, that she doesn't know about (which is part of the reason I always want them to just talk to each other, dammit, even though I adore the way they don't in their few scenes together; but what I wouldn't give for a season 3 in which they're more completely in each other's spheres--but that's a tangent).
Back to the point: this!!! Ellison and Weaver!!! Cromartie and John Henry!!! And I admit when I realized what song you were using I was a little worried that vidding Weaver to Garbage would be too self-aware or something, but instead it's an inspired choice. Love!!!
