To make things less complicated and more fun for me, I'm considering the comics canon, I miss BtVS, I miss the discussions, I miss the excitment over a new episode... I'm experiencing all that again with the comics, so I'm very happy Joss decided to bring Buffy back in any form possible and if I ever see him I'll thank him with my lips.
Seriously why would you say no to more Buffy, more Xander, more Willow and more Giles? I guess each will have their opinion. We can't really convince people to consider them canon if they don't want to.
