The whole world converting to Doctoranity runs screaming off into the void of “who died and made you Jesus?” Heh. I saw that the writer was RTD and thought to myself 'OK, it is very, very likely that at some point the plot with turn competely ridiculous and over the top. And it did. So I laughed and brushed it off... RTD is like Joss in that respect, but moreso!
And on behalf of us he forgave his evil insane misogynist ex-boyfriend I LOVED that. Did you read my post the other day? The Doctor's God-complex is *wonderful* and greatly contributes to why I now love this show so much more than I used to. And of course it is reflected in The Master to wonderful effect. There will be more meta at some point...
