NTM vid-watching challenge: day 5

Day the last and two very different vids to finish with:

Grace by whereistheluv

Emotionally intense and a welcome reminder of how beautifully shot the later Harry films are. The sense of isolation and loss is almost overwhelming, the ending (especially the last three images) affectingly understated.


Short Skirt, Long Jacket by talitha78

I didn’t know Smallville had a Lois! And I imprinted on Terri Hatcher but this vid blasts through that dusty old image like a breath of fresh form Metropolis, sassy yet klutzy, no-nonsense, smart-mouthed, body to die for and knows it but doesn’t care air.

ETA: And just to show how doing this challenge has helped me get over various show issues another rec for the utterly delightful, de-lovely and above all delicious Java Jive posted today by bop_radar

Oh not issue, issues. There's some shows I'm irrationally prejudiced about, took against Farscape early because I didn't like something or other about Crichton and then every time I came across it there seemed to be more of him. Smallville I just lost touch with when it switched channels after the first couple of seasons over here, so I tend not to check out the vids for fear of having no idea what's going on. Which is daft because strangefandom was one of my favourite things ever.
