No More Heroes

Heroes no more. Sadly, no more Claire or Sandra or Angela. No more Nathan or HRG. Molly and Monica already gone. Hiro and Ando on rinse wash repeat. But also no more madcap Sylar redemption or Mohinder the spider-man. No more ‘understanding how things work’ equating to ‘going all Shelob over tasty brains’ because only the dumb and incurious can be good.

Also I don’t trust our DVR to record two things at once and for the next four weeks Heroes is scheduled against The Devil’s Whore. The first installment was a bit of an unmixy mixture of Wicked Lady origin story and serious class struggle with gunsmoke and hats. But it looked wonderful and by the final refrigeration of our heroine’s inadequate boy-husband felt as if both worlds might turn together eventually.

Do - it feels like it's going to be good and has John Simm and Dominic West (playing Oliver Cromwell). It's a UK Channel 4 production but there should be torrents (if you torrent) and eventually overseas sales (if there's a market for the English Civil War).
